Establishment Section

Establishment Section is an important section of the Collectorate.This section is functioning under the administrative control of Collector & District Magistrate, Sundargarh.One Deputy Collector remains in charge of this section .All the official works relating to appointment , transfer and posting of all ministerial and revenue field staff, pension cases of retired employees, finalization of departmental proceeding , appointment under rehabilitation assistance scheme , Assistance, Drawl of Salary of both gazetted and non gazettes staff of Collectorate, Court matter relating to OA cases relating to service matter etc.

Revenue Section

The Revenue Section is one of the Wings of the Collectorate, Sundargarh headed by the Chief Revenue Authority (Collector & A.D.M,Sundargarh) being assist by one Officer-in-charge. The aim of this Section is safeguard the Government land, proper utilization of Govt. land protection security to the landed properties belonging to SC/ST people and provides the land to home stead less and landless person as per the provisions of the OGLS Act, 1962, OPLE Act 1972 and OGLS Rules, 1983 as well as OLR Act 1960 through the Tahasildars/Sub-Collectors under the supervision of Chief Revenue authority of the District. The objective of this Section is all the eligible landless family as per the provisions OGLS Act should be provided with the Govt. land for house site and agricultural purpose.

Development Section

This Section is corresponding mainly on the allegation and grievance petition filed by the public on various developmental works of the district addressed to collector, Sundargarh in the year 2005, All Development schemes including block, establishment of this District had been transferred from this section to DRDA office, Sundargarh.As per the order of collector due to non posting of regular DDO in this district. This section correspondence on education, agriculture, fisheries, poultry, health, minor irrigation, lift irrigation etc.

Election Section

As per the instruction of ECI , the following works have been assigned to District Election Officer i.e. the Collector Sundargarh. At first the electoral roll of each assembly constituency shall be published in first week or second week of January every year who have completed 18 years on the day of first January. Their names should be included in the electoral roll as voters.

The inclusion / modification / deletion /shifting of electors are being done in the web site www.nvsp.in by citizen themselves.

The electoral literacy clubs are formed in different institutions and colleges to sensitize the election process to participate large numbers of electors during the time of election and also to motive the people to take part in the election.
